I’ve gotta say, the Plague Doctor is really starting to grow on me. I love his polite and naive personality.

Imagine if in a twist of irony the pestilence actually became real a day or two after Clef sent 049 in there.

I feel like in this environment surrounded by people astonished by his “work” the Doctor would thrive, both scientifically and emotionally. He has some purpose here, and he can do good and win the love and respect of people, which is what he ultimately wants.

I like how the Doctor can easily be a villain but in certain hellish situations actually emerges as a potential saviour.

I honestly wish that they'd allow 049 a proper laboratory and any equipment he'd want. He's just so polite and caring despite everything. I honestly can't see the issue if they just gave him a bunch of D-class personal every so often and a proper lab

This is actually a win-win for both Clef and the Plague Doctor.

Let's not ignore the fact that Dr. Clef appears to have countless amounts of heavy metal restraints in his "private leisure room".
