  Maybe the lost SCPs are SCPs that were lost to time, like the Department of Abnormalities and the SCP Foundation are only now rediscovering those SCPs, just like when they found the Department of Abnormalities. What if the lost SCPs are the original SCPs that were contained by the Department of Abnormalities?

  It&apos;s self harm going towards an impassibility general state of being to continue the operation still going because the creativity being siphoned by that poem could mean the complete stop to come up with ideas to contain further anomalies that would come. In other words it&apos;s counterproductive. Incredible inventions would be stopped from being made and those inventions could really aid. Also, because of the drainage happening means that an active entity attached to the poem and it is actively harnessing its influence, right under the radar, destroy the poem and the entity&apos;s grasp is destroyed. Whoever created the poem was inclined to give it to the few who would understand the possible outcomes. You either keep it and use it rarely for few minds to make critical decisions sometimes but with the risk of their minds to be engulfed by possible side effects of the entity behind the creation of the poem or you destroy it and save the world overall. Ponder carefully because each higher up that reads the poem can fall into a low mood and then possibly their mind being harvested into the webs of an unknown devourer and influencer of minds. A future shown is a future preventable, but also no longer happening because of the upcoming actions for better preventions happenings.
