Summer 2008 I was the happiest 10 year old there could be I had got this game on the PS3 after watching so many YouTube videos reviewing it and gameplay videos. I still think about this game alot cause it was the most fun I’ve had playing any GTA game ever, I cant imagine GTA6 being as fun unless they bring back the physics in this game. This is my childhood and I still play it every now and then.

There's even more, Niko Bellic is one of the best developed (GTA) characters, inspired by the fictional character of Sasha Ivanic (from the movie "Behind the enemy lines"), Sasha Ivanic, depicted by Vladimir Mashkov playing the fictional antihero from the movie mentioned above, by the way Sasha Ivanic's character was most probably based on/inspired by one of the Enforcers of the real life Milorad Ulemek aka Milorad Luković) and it also looks that He was created to some extent to resemble Boško Radonjić also known as "The Yugo", a real life Serbian immigrant criminal that was operating in New York in the '70s, and Boris Mikhailovich Nayfeld.

His arrival by the boat in LC kinda reminds of the arrival of Antonio Montana in the movie "SCARFACE".

One more fun fact, Grand Theft Auto Vice City stories plot is also more adult, tragic, showing that the life of a criminal can have damaging consequences.

Also let's not forget 'bout the two additional protagonists from the EFLC plots, Johnny Klebitz bears some similarities with the Protagonist of "The Sons of Anarchy" which is Jackson 'Jax' Teller and some notable ones with/real life/ Charles "Pee Wee" Goldsmith such as german/ashkenazi surnames, appearance and being the heads of their MCs, on the other hand Luis Lopez bears similarities to Peoples Hernandez from "Shaft" and /real life/ Amado Carrillo Fuentes.

I've found another fun fact, it turns out that there was a Restaurant, night club and...Cabaret in Brooklyn's Brighton Beach Ave...which was owned by a Russian Mobster, 'twas known as the Odessa.

The relationship 'tween Trey Stewart & Dwayne Forge looks strikingly similar to the real life Harlem Kingpins: Alpo Martinez & Rich Porter, also depicted in the film "Paid In Full".

The game also bears some undeniable inspirations from the following movies: "We own the night" & "State of grace", probably "Eastern promises" too, in short The Mcreary family, in reality the Westies were featured in "State of grace", the movie's characters seem to inspire the game's Mcreary family members, "We own the night", featured a Russian crime boss that owned the club in Brighton Beach, which was based on Marat Balagula, so it's pretty obvious that he was one of the inspirations for the Faustin character, and also Mikhail reminds of a Russian Tony Montana version, plus personally I do think that Ray Boccino was inspired by Roy De Meo to some extent.
