I love the sudden reveal during all this interpersonal drama that apparently??? Massive numbers of people are dying in the hospital and no one knows why??? TO THE POINT WHERE THEY ARE RUNNING OUT OF PLACES TO PUT THE BODIES??????? why is this important plot point just suddenly casually mentioned in EPISODE 7

The issue is everything about this is dreamlike - in a bad way. Scenes that don’t seem to connect narratively, characters that come out of nowhere, plot points that repeat or resonate in uncanny ways. Do I think the whole thing is ai generated? No…but I think it was used as a crutch by the writers and it shows.

Imagine if Silent Hill Ascension ended with a battle between the Cult and the people in Norway.

Even if it's not AI generated, it still feels like the fakest shit imaginable.

The scene where Rachel is looking for her daughter convinced me they used AI in their writing in some capacity. She's urgently looking for her daughter in this death fog city ("A Withering? Here?") but she stops for a chat with a random dude whos looking for his dog about, both, his dead wife, and how she's unsure about the cult in general, this despite the fact that the story tells us that Rachel is actually super powerhungry and badly wants to control the cult.<br><br>The dude then gets eaten by his trauma dog, Rachel flees back to the cult, seemingly unbothered that her daughter might be dog food now and never brings the guy up again. Very disconnected scenes, which feel like a fever dream due to the lack of relation of the characters with the audience, very AI like. <br><br>A bad human writer would still write these scene with a sense of urgency and care, because he empathizes with the mother character in that situation, whilst to an AI the mother is just vocabulary copied from the books and stories it learned from.

Keep in mind, Astrid is the one who told the investigator that she found drugs in her mother's room. She's the one who basically accused her father of murder in a previous episode. In the final episode she claims the investigator has some kind of vendetta against her family. Great writing.

I felt like I was going insane during the bar scene.<br>"There is a true crime podcaster talking about us, the newest episode just dropped, let's listen to it" proceeds to listen to 10 seconds of him calling Orson's mother a monster and nothing else. What the f*ck is going on 💀
