  Technically Sephiroth never truly &quot;dies&quot;. He just returns to the lifestream fully conscious and is trying to find a way back.

  I really think Sephiroth was just lonely, &nbsp;and it drove him mad. Think about it. He grew up in a lab, treated as a weapon, not a child. Then growing up the strongest in the world, with no equal. No one can understand what your going through. Then, after years of this, you see your &quot;mothers&quot; Name on a door. You have family after all, and they have her captive, using her powers. You feel betrayed by those closest to you. They kept you from having a mother, a family, perhaps a life you choose. It&apos;s enough to make anyone go mad. <br>A lot of times in these games and shows, I like the villains, because most of them are justified in how they feel. Maybe their actions... Not so much.

  I like seeing the human side of Sephiroth prior to the events of VII. &nbsp;I like the idea of seeing him as a hero and I feel like that made me enjoy Crisis Core all the more.
