I feel like the video you found is too misleading with its funny tone, and it skips a lot of detail about how the final war destroyed earth and why humans descended into hell, also machines didn't kill humans, its not disclosed yet how humans died, but some logs suggest that hell killed them or caused the extinction (they were a dying cpecies after the final war anyways) (also nobody was gooning in the lore!, the holy council were in chaos after god disappeared, and god most likely killed himself), then machines started descending into hell to harvest more blood as they can't live anymore without humans fuelling them, V1 is also probably woken up by hell, also machines cant eat creatures, they are only fuelled by blood, and V1 is the only one that can refuel from blood on any part of his body, also the story of minos and sisyphus is way older than the final war and they deserve their own video to be explained. So IDK, the vid is pretty good but it makes the ultrakill universe seem way brighter than it actually is.

I feel this lore video is more befitting for people who have played the game and know the lore already, and are looking for comedic, or at least less depressing takes on it. It also features a lot of speculation that should be taken with a grain of salt. Videos with more serious tones are a better retelling, but generally it's best to experience it yourself ☺️

No the game isn't based on the bible , it's based on the divine comedy the Dante's inferno which is a fanfic of the bible written by Dante in 1321

You should have watched Linguini And Lasagna's video about lore. It's much clearer than this one (it's at least serious). It was shown near the end, the top one

Okay, if you want to understand the lore of Ultrakill, I recommend you watch Linguini & Lasagna's video; he explains the entire timeline of the game very well.
