  Ultrakill lore is basically murphy&apos;s law taken to the extreme.<br>&quot;If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong&quot; except its just always wrong.

  Everything in Ultrakill is tied to the lore in some way. One fact I always loved bringing up is that the machines during the war era only register the general shapes and patterns of their surroundings in order to save on the resources required to render the extra details (except the sentries who don&apos;t move much and need the details for efficient sniping). So we&apos;re seeing Ultrakill&apos;s world through V1&apos;s low poly, simplified view in order to prioritize energy consumption.

  The og vid kinda does Sisyphus dirty. He cared a lot about his men and his army, it&apos;s just that he fully believed that fighting against tyranny was better than suffering in silence, even if it was a futile fight
