  Our venue cancelled on us during covid so we went to the courthouse, got married, stuck all that money into buying a home which has since gone up in value, and had kids. Best decision ever! So happy!

  Got married in my parents backyard, my dress was 100 dollars, my friend made our cake, and my mom was my caterer. We were able to do our down payment for a house 6 months in our marriage and it was the best decision ever.

  I work for an oil company.. fun fact. &nbsp;The oil we send to factories that produce candy and processed foods is so low grade it wouldn&apos;t even qualify to go into your engine... &nbsp;think about that next time you eat some fast food.

  I&apos;ve had a honda civic for the last 8 years. Paid cash. She was 5 years old at the time. Hardly any miles. And I love my car, But I&apos;m always surprised by how many people make rude comments about it. I also married my husband at the courthouse. I bought a dress on amazon for like 120. And we got our &quot;cake&quot; as cupcakes from the grocery store, I wouldn&apos;t have it any other way.

  I love how she’s like “college is a waste of money. Send that money to me instead!” <br><br>College is definitely too expensive, but reading her book or going to her class is not going to open the same doors for you.

  New cars built today are also impossible to fix yourself. They lock you into dealership repairs which quintuple the price of a basic service.

  Eloped, drive a paid off car, make my iced coffee at home, eat almost all meals at home with a few exceptions per week. &nbsp;I carry a vintage 1994 Coach station bag. I retired at 49 and my husband at 57. &nbsp;We travel and have ultimate freedom. &nbsp;Nothing you can buy is worth the total freedom of retirement. 🙌🏻
