As a US Army veteran that served two tours in Iraq watching you go through what used to be considered extremely dangerous territory, was a little nerve-racking for me as I was watching you drive through there. And to top it off, you drove through areas that are still considered dangerous today. May God continue to bless and protect you, your family and those that work with you. Thank you for your bravery and for bringing this biblical story to life for us. You along with your son and your team did an amazing job!

My Father n law returned to Jesus in his last year of life thanks to your dedication to bringing The Bible to life; your archeology best seller, and your videos: they brought Roy to the realization that Yah is real! He has passed onto Glory (last December). THANK YOU.

Joel, that was awesome and the drone shots were awesome, too. In 2001, I was coming off a 2-year contract out of Jeddah where I had spent a lot of time in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and before coming home my 20 year-old son met me in Beirut for a 3-week tour of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. (We were in Palmyra on August 9 when Sbarro’s Pizza was hit by the suicide bomber and arrived Jerusalem on the 11th. Look, keep that young man close - one year later from our trip I lost my son - we know, however, where he is - in the presence of God but losing a child is something one struggles to get through but never over.

On December 23 - early morning hours, I woke up from a dream - was at my son’s wake, looking at him when he began to stir. He got up, gently and loving faced me and said, “I want you to meet my friend.” To his right a light began to shine brighter and brighter and a man was approaching who I immediately recognized and said, “JESUS, please let me come with you” - He smiled and lovingly/softly said, “not now - not yet” and I said “Jesus, please take me with you” and He softly and lovingly said, “your time will come.” A fog or cloud developed and the brightness went away - I woke up and prayed. Our time is short and we shall be with him soon!

So, you must’ve passed Haditha Dam. In the time when I was fighting ISIS, I lived at Haditha dam. While I lived there, I was drawn to an orchard, and I spent allot of my free time, just hanging out there. More than once, I would find a local hanging out there too, and they’d tell me that the reason we’re drawn there, is because that’s where Abraham and his convoy pitched their tents, on the way to Harran, and that’s why the locals maintain the orchard, without building on it. It’s like a public garden.

I spent time in Iraq as a marine. Your videos give me chills because I have been to a lot of the same locations. When you went to Saddam’s house in Hila, I know that area well. It served as the command post for Task Force Blue Diamond in 2003 and was the battalion headquarters while we conducted counter insurgency operations in the area surrounding southern Baghdad. Absolutely crazy to see the biblical significance of the area I absolutely hated and wanted to leave so badly.
