  When asked at church one gathering years ago, where would I like to go visit Bethel was my choice - everyone gave me the strangest look - but I said it is where God came down and met Jacob face to face - i want to be where God has been / Is

  So then why do people accept the dome of the rock as the place where Abraham was to sacrifice Issac? Not that its critical for our faith but its still the word of God and should be taken as truth. Clearly the scripture says its not in Jerusalem Genesis 12:8 &amp; Genesis 28:10-19. I even asked googles &nbsp;AI platform if those descriptions were the same place and it answered yes. Given where Ai was located and Beersheba then these men arrived at the same location at different times. 🙄
