I still think that the scene by the fence, with the telephone playing, is the most frightening and atmospheric in all 6 films.

The Spinosaurus in this movie is called Asset 87, and was hyper aggressive as a side effect of the augmentations it received in its creation, which was practice for creating the hybrid experiments that come later. Its still alive in the canon and has grown even larger. This movie is responsible for my love of the Spinosaurus, but my favorite scene in the franchise is the first Rex encounter from the original film.

That phone ringing has been engraved in my mind for over 20 years. The times I’ve heard it in public my head whips around

Fun Fact: that nightmare Dr Grant has about the Velociraptor calling him Alan is actually foreshadowed by the earlier scene of him trying to get Ellie’s pet bird to say his name just before they had their conversation about raptor intelligence and vocalisation.

Fun fact: the reason why they made the fight between the spinosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus rex with full CGI instead of using some shots with animatronics, is because while they were filming the fighting scene between the spinosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus they were using the animatronics and I kid you not, the spinosaurus animatronic accidentally ripped the head off the Tyrannosaurus rex animatronic straight off

Billy gets such a bad rep, like yeah he make stupid decision but almost if not all decisions he makes in this movie he make them thinking on helping Alan, and then at the end he didnt hesitate to put himself in danger to save Eric. Justice to my boy Billy

If you are curious about how Eric survived the time he was on Isla Sorna, there is a book about it called Jurassic Park Adventures Survival

Everytime I hear that ringtone I automatically think of the scene with the Spinosaurus standing behind everyone before they start to run.😆
