What is really irritating is the repeated posting of images that are not even relevant to the videos and the monotonous repetition of the same script again and again with imagined conversations that could not have been relayed to history. Often the actual facts of the story line could done in a fourth of the time.

The claim of 400,000 killed by the Japanese is bogus. The actual number was 160,000. Total WW2 American deaths were 407,000. This was a bush league error in research.

CPT McVey was made a scapegoat to cover up for an oversight in upper management. The blame should be higher up in rank because there was a systemic insufficient response to missing ships & rescue. It should not have taken this long for McVey’s honor to be restored. I hope the Navy learned to fix their deficiency since WWII!

What happened to the men who ignored the distress call. Every one of them needed a court martial. No single one of them is guilty of any heinous crime, every one of them was a mere bureaucratic technicality. But they are the guilty parties.
