<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewnorRepsno&t=1700">28:20</a> as a Swiss, I'm happy if a big chunk of my taxes go towards the preservation of mountain villages eventhough I live in the city. These villages are a big part of what makes Switzerland Switzerland.

In 1998, I parked my car opposite the Belvedre Hotel and it was just a short walk to the Rhone Glacier. Since then, the Glacier has receded several kilometres. It's so sad.

I got to live in Kandersteg for a summer and never thought that those beautiful mountains could be so dangerous..

Several years ago, I travelled through Switzerland by train. As we wove in and around, up and down the mountains and green green valleys, a thought popped into my mind, "If the gods really love you, you'll be born in Switzerland." I've never had any reason to question this. It feels as true today as ever. What an amazing place. Thank you for the great reporting.

One of the best videos I have ever watched! The commentary and scenery...along with the seriousness of the Swiss Valleys is presented with such emotions, one cannot help but to feel inspired by the Swiss spirit to maintain their mountain heritage. Thx for your video, loved it...New York!
