  These kids were rejected or pressured by their own parents, that is just crushing. No wonder they rarely trust anyone.

  When the cop told that girl to move she looked so sad like she just wanted to stare at her phone and dissociate but he had to ask her to leave

  People in the “Toyoko” scene often wear flashy, high-end clothes and accessories, and at first glance, they might appear intimidating. However, once you interact with them, many turn out to be polite, kind, and deeply human. At the same time, some have had dangerous experiences, such as drug overdoses (OD), and carry complex backgrounds and personal issues. Their true nature can&apos;t be understood just by appearance or rumors. Some have shown me genuine kindness, which made me realize the importance of approaching others without prejudice.<br>(My experience)

  Living as a homeless in Tokyo is overwhelmingly despairing. During this summer season, the high temperature and humidity spread the smell of sewage and leftovers from restaurants throughout the city. In densely populated areas, everything feels sticky, making it impossible to live comfortably.

  There are &quot;strange&quot; youngsters everywhere but compared to other cities these look quite tame. I bet they don&apos;t beg, threaten or harrass people.

  I would really recommend people do some research on the Toyoko Kids, while visually the fashion and aesthetic of this is cool to look at, it&apos;s quite sad these kids situations. Some of these children fall into really dark holes

  I think this is interesting, although quite sad and horrible. This is a side you don&apos;t see or hear often about Japan, so I think it&apos;s nice to see this in such a genuine way.

  The feeling of being lost or not belonging exists in many cultures around the world. The most common similarity is the lack of alternatives and the advertisement that attracts young people. I&apos;m guessing a social space would cost a huge amount of money over there and so the lower income miss out.
