I Traveled 4,000 Miles Outside My Comfort Zone

I never really thought I would take a trip like this. At 48 years old, I traveled to London for my first real trip abroad—and I intentionally did almost no research beforehand. I wanted everything to be new. I wanted to experience it as it happened instead of knowing what I was supposed to see or how I was supposed to feel about it. So that's what this video is. My daughter Jaelynn, son in law Johnny, sister Sis, and I figuring out London as we go. Riding public transportation for the first time, eating way too much food, wandering around staring at architecture, visiting Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, laughing at things we probably shouldn't be laughing at, and discovering just how far outside my normal world I'd actually traveled. And then we went to Stonehenge. I'd wanted to see it since I was a kid, but somewhere along the way I guess I decided experiences like that probably weren't going to be part of my life. Standing there at 48 years old hit me a lot harder than I expected. I've been ending my videos lately by telling you to go do something you've been putting off. This time, I finally took my own advice. We finished the trip exploring Bath and the Roman Baths, where somehow I was still finding things that my brain couldn't quite accept I was actually standing in front of. This isn't a London travel guide. I definitely don't know enough for that. 😂 I'm just here to learn, experience things, and hopefully take you along with me.
