  I’m Portuguese and I came to London for a long weekend and I’m still here. I felt at home; all the beauty around me, the people from all over the world in an “small” city just did it for me and there isn’t a single day that I’m not grateful and I never regretted the choice. I lived in several countries due to my work but England is the one that cached my heart ❤❤❤

  As a British guy who has substantially travelled, I still maintain that London, (and Britain as a whole) has so much to offer for the international traveller. I believe it is the best capital city in the world to visit.

  I am a Londoner who now lives in the North East of England, Co. Durham. I left London due to the cost of everything. However, I do miss it terribly. People say northerners are friendly but have found a lot of them to be deeply deeply narrow minded, no level of education and deeply racist. The lack of education here is jaw dropping. I work with people who ask me is " the British Museum a real thing"? Londoners are open minded, well travelled and educated. Also, as it is such an international city tolerant and welcoming to all.

  As a Londoner, I’m so glad to see you enjoyed the city so much. So happy to see you saying how friendly Londoners are - we get a bad rep sometimes, especially from other parts of the country, but Londoners really are welcoming and friendly people.

  I went to London last summer and I loved it. There is so much to see and do. So much good food, so many neighborhoods. I’m glad you went!

  The tower with Big Ben is the Queen Elizabeth tower.  The friendliness is real, no one is being nice for a tip. London is the best.
