as someone who owns these, i highly recommend stretching and contracting all of your fingers for one or two minutes with the gloves being worn on the hand, you can typically be aggressive when moving your fingers which i recommend for this as you are intentionally getting the stretch sensors "warmed up" (do not grab with the other hand and stretch or bend fingers backwards as it could break with external forces), it stops the need to re-calibrate for much longer from my experience.

These were honestly a nice concept

But I'm still gonna prefer regular controllers instead because I feel like I would not get used to using these

    Nice overview.
Been using mine for the past 9 months or so. Took them a few tries before shipping out a version that wasn't prone to breaking (internal tracking bits failed, or something in between, possible the ribbon cable). Software could still use improvement, and hopefully will be more on par with Diver X software in the future.
The real downsides? If you want to use other controllers/gloves, you have to deactivate their SteamVR plugin and restart SteamVR which is super annoying. Can't wear a watch while wearing these because of how far down the wrist they attach. Tracker wobble, but it can sort of be solved with the straps they included in the box (wraps around the middle of your hand to hold the unit snugly). While it's easy to grab drinks and such, it is pretty difficult to type with these because of the weird design of the tip of the fingers. The lack of a trigger makes these a lot less useful outside VRChat. Finger animation also does not match what their glove preview shows, making your 'relaxed hand' pose look like you're still using a Quest (thumb sticks straight out).Hopefully they make adjustments in the future!

Highly recommend getting 'cotton glove liners' (typically used under latex/vinyl gloves; not 'cotton gloves') from Amazon or wherever. Doesn't matter how cheap or thin they are, they make a HUGE difference in usability and preventing sweat. Added friction between the cotton and the inside of the glove make it a lot more responsive to finger movements, only at the cost of taking a little longer to remove the glove from your hand. Living in a warmer region myself, they definitely prevent too much heat buildup as well.

I would love to see this continue to be improved on. Mostly focusing on addressing those cons. Price is important but I feel like should be done after the other stuff is fully dealt with.
