You definitely NEED to see them all just because they're awesome!

The song is the original TV show theme song arranged for the movie.

26:44 Not cgi, but instead a mock up of a train, with a jet engine fan pushing 180mph wind. Tom wanted to do it on a real train, but they said no way, and settled for the mid-ground. What you are seeing as "cgi" is likely the compositing of the background scenery with the train and Tom. This started Toms insistence on doing all his own stunts, and going forward, he pretty much always got his way lol

Watch them all. Post them all. I will watch those videos as well. One of the best series of all time. The second one is VERY John Woo, but the third one resets the tone and the series gets better each and every movie. I really hope you see this and trust me, some random guy...but I am not wrong, and I think you will agree. Love your work!!

Crazy part is this series gets better and better. It's pure entertainment and it delivers across the board.

The villain in this movie (Jim Phelps) was the hero of the TV series. When the movie was in development, they tried to get the original actor, Peter Graves, to reprise his role.. But he turned it down because he felt that Jim Phelps would never betray his country. So Jon Voight got the role instead.

When this came out, a lot of fans of the TV show, including my mom, HATED the choice to make Phelps the villain. Many, also including my mom, refused to watch any more M:I movies after this one as a result.

Luckily, the movies found their own audience, and we're all better off for it. They are consistently some of the best spy action thrillers ever made.

I freaking love how subtle Kreigor’s knife is. It’s in your face all movie and you don’t even notice.

I love that they just leaned into the style of the director - this is absolutely a paranoid, psychodrama directed by Brian De Palma, and I adore it!

This is the extremely rare franchise where the films only get better. You will not believe where this whole thing goes. And you will actually get an answer to what if they choose not to accept. Seriously, you have no idea how much fun and how amazing these get.
