  Nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to seeing Elvis sing live.  Don't get me wrong, I love his movies and his records.  But live is absolutely the best.  I think it was B. B. King who said something like Elvis had a way of making you believe he meant what he sang.  That's so true.  You watch him, you hang on every word, every inflection, all the nuisances.  That is one rare talent.

  No one has ever been able to deliver a song like Elvis could. Not before him or since. Thank you, Elvis for sharing the incredible gift you had. Gone too soon, but he gave us a mountain of talent and great memories!

  This song fits his life. He was just divorced from Priscilla, who took Lisa Marie, his little twin brother died at birth, and his father had been in prison for check fraud. Elvis is the greatest.

  Elvis had power in his voice because the songs meant so much to him. He orchestrated his band well, he felt every note. Elvis chose the songs he wanted to sing, he did many cover songs and made them his own. You will be amazed if you dig into Elvis. A man with flaws just like the rest of us but a musical wonder. <br>God gave him a wonderful gift.

By the way, you need to see the flack he took in the 50&apos;s, through the segregated time when white stations would not play black artists till Elvis changed that, see &quot; Elvis Presley and the Black Community&quot;.   I remember watching this when it aired. The Aloha From Hawaii concert was a huge deal at the time and still is with me. When I need a dose of Elvis, or just anything awesome, &nbsp;I watch this concert.

  A heartbreaking song by Marty Robbins but Elvis just adds so much emotion and power to it. Fantastic performance that i thankfully have in the Aloha from Hawaii box set. Listened to that live album many times on 8-track in the 70s on road trips with my family.
