  I was taught about Jesus and His death on the cross to give &nbsp;salvation for my soul. Doctrine which just kept me in a dream that I have a hard time understanding. I attended a Catholic secondary school and joined the altar boys heard the gospels and the other stories. Of the Old Testament of the Bible. I was in college when I went through the whole Bible and read it through like reading a novel, and still I did not have any depth in my understanding. Only when I got baptised in the Holy spiritual that I start to fully understand the meaning of the word “salvation”. It did not come right away but slowly scripture is coming alive from Genesis to Revelation was a new journey than understanding came to me until one at a time God brought me into personal revelational experiences pulling me closer and deeper intimacy with Him as my Father more than the intimacy with my biological father whom I loved dearly. <br>Today I come to believe that the Holy Bible is the written word of God because it was written by human writers as revealed by the Holy Spirit. &nbsp;Authored by God the Holy Spirit. Scribes writing down from memory in a vivid vision more vivid like viewing it again in a movie.

  People swing on yhis questiin mark of perpentual &quot;I don&apos;t know&quot;.... yet, experiencially you have sinned. You choose it every day. What are you gonna do with it at the end of your life? When God calls accounts due, you are gonna pay for it.

  It always confuses me how people (including my past self) can be atheist. Atheism just doesn&apos;t make any sense. Most atheists say they believe in science yet reject the scientific impossibility that something can not be created from nothing. They actually believe that the universe popped into existence from nothing. That&apos;s as ridiculous and impossible as seeing a beautiful custom car and thinking that nobody built it and that it just popped into existence from nothing. No atheist would believe nothing created a car and yet they believe nothing created the universe which is far more intricate and complicated than a car. Nothing can&apos;t create everything. It is impossible. I once thought this too and I don&apos;t know how I was so confused about something so simple. God has to exist otherwise NOTHING about creation makes sense, NOTHING.

  The time wasted praying in churches and preaching &quot;their truth&quot; on the streets, could have been used towards helping the elderly, feeding the hungry, etc.

  Ideology vs practice… there is no “real” contradictions there. Every human society contains certain ideologies to STRIVE for. Unfortunately, no person is “perfect” (however that might be defined). Which should indicate that no matter what ideals a society might have, there will be people who deviate from a specific ideal on a daily basis. <br><br>So in a sense, the idea of some “objective” morality is an impossibility. &nbsp;And yet these two street preachers premise their lives on the idea of objective morals ? &nbsp;On their idea that there is some supernatural entity’s “laws” that everyone should strive for even though they nor anyone else can even prove that entity exists ?? A person may as well premise their lives upon the “Wizard of Oz” !! &nbsp;<br><br>People who seek some “universal morality” simply doesn’t grasp the essence of the real, external, empirical universe and its complexity. <br><br>Everything in the universe is RELATIVE to something else, whether that be one’s culture, how &amp; what they’ve been taught, social priorities, secular laws, etc. Morality is not subject to “objectivity” !! <br><br>A reasonable degree of objectivity may be found in SCIENCE but morality is sufficiently nebulous in among human social groups as to be chasing buckets of gold at the end of some rainbow.
