  I had a 1971 4x4 pinto that was put together in November 1970 so it's safe to say it was the very first 4x4 pinto!

  I had a red 77 Pinto, my car in high school, early 90&apos;s. No matter what folks say, the Pinto had its place. Had its quirks...in winter, real Canadian winter, it would always start, unless I parked it in a heated garage or went for an oil change. Once it warmed up and something thawed, it would not start. Id have to roll it outside to re-freeze. <br>In 12th grade, I was a delivery driver in the evenings. In a parking lot one night, I slid into another parked Pinto. It was slightly nicer than mine, but all that made contact was our bumpers. I hit his rear bumper. <br>Yes, I rear ended a Pinto with a Pinto. The owner, not realizing we had both just cheated death, demanded $100 on the spot, or he&apos;d call it in.

  My best friend from high school had a Pinto as his first car and I&apos;ve always thought it would look wicked with it 4 x 4&apos;d and lifted, now I get to see it for real. &nbsp;Super cool! :hand-orange-covering-eyes::face-purple-wide-eyes::elbowcough: &nbsp; I&apos;d paint it like &quot;The General Lee&quot; from Dukes of Hazzard because they jumped it like it was a monster truck. :elbowcough::elbowcough::elbowcough: &nbsp; &nbsp;Maybe Paint it metal-flake purple, trim it out in gold, and call it &quot;The Pimpto.&quot; 🤩:glasses-purple-yellow-diamond::oops:🤣 &nbsp; However, today it&apos;s &quot;Starsky and Krunch.&quot; :face-green-smiling: &nbsp; Great job; so cool, I need that just to get my MTB to the bike park! :washhands:

  I could never understand why someone would put any money and effort into modifying a Pinto, but that&apos;s kinda cool and I would definitely own it.
