  My grandpa was from Friuli, escaped WWI to Argentina with a brother and their mom, all three overdosed on PTSD (especially &apos;La Nonna&apos;). Hope you can cover the life of people living there before the empire in another video, or maybe a series (lots to cover!).<br>Thank you 🥰✨

  Great vid; cool maps, excellent narration, and interesting images, but the stuff about the Golasecca and Veneti was mind-blowing; Celtic inscriptions &amp; the horse culture, fascinating

  Man, wish you could&apos;ve gone into the rest of the Italian cultures, the Ligurians, Raetians, Histrians, Sabines, Lucanians, Campanians, the Samnites in particular were especially important.

  I read when Columbus sailed &nbsp;to the new world he brought wooden barrels filled with cured hams in salt from a family somewhere in Italy. These hams are still made by the same family today and are considered the best quality.

  I&apos;ve tried my best to evaluate all the theories and information about Italy. Many of this channel&apos;s offerings have enlightened me. I am a curious student of Etruscan history. I&apos;ve seen many maps of their regions in Italy. As I get closer to realizing my ancestral Italian cities, I see the Etruscan people continue to be the most influential &apos;Italians&apos; throughout the peninsula&apos;s history. In my opinion.
