  I'm Austrian and travel a lot, but every time I return to Austria, I notice how high the quality of life is here. I'm happy to live here.

  From a Viennese perspective, this is a very nice report and largely accurate.<br><br>But if you come to Vienna, here&apos;s a little tip: search YouTube, etc., for tourist channels run by real Viennese people to avoid falling into tourist traps. It&apos;ll be cheaper then. And definitely nicer, too. Some places are suffocated by overtourism in the summer and at Christmas, and locals avoid them.

  This May was really the coldest in decades in Austria. :-( Usually May is a perfect month for travelling in Austria.

  Graffiti is actually officially permitted along the Danube Canal, which is where most of the graffiti shots you showed were taken. It’s part of an informal agreement between the city and graffiti artists: the city provides a legal space for them to express themselves, and in return, they’re expected to avoid spraying in other areas. That’s also why, as you mentioned, you see very little graffiti in the rest of the city.

  Vienna is NOT a very rainy city. In fact, we have a lot of problems during the summertime because often it doesn’t rain enough. In winter, snow has become very rare because of the climate change. But it&apos;s nearly always windy, so it seems to be colder than it is in reality. On the other side, the wind is providing us with fresh air so this city very seldomly struggles with air pollution.<br>I am living in Vienna and I feel very lucky to be here. There are so many beautiful places. And allthough I am a resident, there are still some of them waiting to be discovered by me.

  If you were in Vienna right now, you&apos;d say: hot, hotter than hot (36 degrees Celsius). May was one of the coldest I&apos;ve ever experienced in my 53 years of life! As an Austrian who lives in the Alps (Styria), every time I&apos;ve come to Vienna, whether winter or summer, it&apos;s always been considerably warmer there!
