  Uro is afraid of the cockroach because he has swarms not physical attacks, Since maki is relative to yuta Uro should be able to relatively outmatch her in hand to hand despite her superior skills because it won't matter when your hands are twisted up. Remeber that yuta is also a tricky opponent to detect because he has so much curse energy.  Another thing is that thin ice breaker did so much damage it made yuta summon rika, you can see yuta use rct everytime he gets hit by any of the sendai players so unless maki can heal I think it's really not gonna be the same for her when she gets hit because she can't heal fast enough.

  Uro's thin ice breaker was doing damage to yuta it was stated he has to heal after hers and ryus attacks. It wouldn't make sense for that statement to be in regards to uro punching him or something

  As said in Modulo, the advantage between Heavenly Restriction and reinforcement being the lack of reading cursed energy means we don&apos;t even know if the Sendai sorcerers can react to her attacks.<br><br>Also, she can read cursed techniques, meaning she&apos;ll have good knowledge of how their moves work just from seeing them

  Why are we acting like Kurourushi&apos;s roach swarm isn&apos;t a factor in this fight or against Uro — yknow, the ACTUAL reason Uro considers him a tricky opponent? Acting as if Kurourushi uses nothing but its melee attacks is just very weird when making your argument.

  Uro is the biggest challenge because of the matchup, but she does have air-hopping, sensory abilites so good she can detect changes in tha air, a level of precog and because she lacks CE it&apos;s tough to predicts her movements. We learned in Modulo that every attack is esentially an ambush. And even if she hits Maki with a Thin Ice breaker the damage isn&apos;t insane. Ryu defo hits harder.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eccjmMePoKk&amp;t=720">12:00</a> not sure if anyone has mentioned it but the reason why Kurourushi is a bad matchup for Uro has little to do with physical (melee) attacks. Kurourushi via his cockroaches would swarm around Uro and there would be too many for Uro to be able to redirect via her sky manipulation. Obviously any physical attack Kurorushi can do with its cursed tool is scary but he only did that to her arm because Uro was on CT burnout and couldn’t utilize sky manipulation properly, otherwise an attack like that wouldn’t have touched her. The swarm thing is also part of the reason why Yuta while using Druv’s CT worked on Uro, her sky manipulation isn’t good at dealing with multiple attacks coming in at once, I will say Uro was also taken by surprise by Yuta using an ability outside of cursed speech, but both in the anime and in the manga Uro while using Sky Manipulation is only able to redirect and damage one of the shikigami while the remaining 3 continue on to create the pathways that end up damaging her.<br><br>Needless to say I don’t really think Maki would be able to do anything against Sky Manipulation. I don’t think thin ice breaker would do much physical damage to Maki considering her passive healing and innate durability. I think Maki’s best chance is Uro either opening a domain which Maki can just sneak up on Uro and stab her like she did to Sukuna, or Ryu would fire off a granite blast that would likely destroy the barrier from the outside and at that point Uro would either be at the mercy of Maki or Ryu. I could also see scenario like you mention later where Uro and Ryu open up domains on each other and Maki likely either targets Ryu or Uro which either way would be at her mercy within a domain since the sure-hit wouldn’t be able to target her and only the stat buffed normal attacks could be directed at her similar to what Jogo did to Gojo or Dagon did to Toji. <br><br>Either way I think Maki post Naoya fight could handle this colony with a similar level of difficulty to Yuta.

  I agree with everything about Ryu and Druv, but I’ve got a little to add about the other two. Kurorushi wouldn’t be light work for Maki, I don’t think. It was shown to be physically overpowering Yuta (in the anime at least), but lost because it has worse swordsmanship and dies to RCT. Also, if we go by the anime, those massive swarms of roaches would make Kurorushi really hard for Maki to approach. Unless Maki gets the jump on it, I think Kurorushi could summon those large swarms, and since Maki can’t eject CE like Yuta and Ryu, she wouldn’t have any way to approach without risking heavy damage.<br><br>Like what you said, I think Uro would get bodied in CQC, but Uro, unlike Ryu, clearly doesn’t engage head to head in a situation she doesn’t like. She sneaks Yuta and Ryu several times, doesn’t try to 1v1 but instead jump in on other fights, and isn’t above hiding if her opponent is too strong (which she does when Sukuna pulls up). All this is to say, I doubt she’s gonna be fighting Maki unless it’s on her terms. Of course Maki is a top tier sneaker, so I bet she could off guard Uro, like after a domain or when she sleeps

  Simply don&apos;&apos;t think uro is letting maki keep her hands on ssk. Also using the one instance of granite blast that yuta dodges where ryu is like practically a city block away is certain a choice ngl

  I agree with everything, except I think Maki needs Ryu&apos;s interference to win vs Uro. It might not be to the same degree, but Yuta moves are also less readable due to his CE flow and we saw nobody break Uro&apos;s through sky manipulation honestly.<br><br>Maybe Maki&apos;s precog gets here there but that&apos;s an assumption. Plus, there is the chance sky manipulation breaks precog since it manipulates &quot;everything around her&quot;, which Maki is reading.<br><br>Thin Ice Breaker also seems to become Yuta&apos;s main offensive move and Ryu commented on Yuta using RCT to recover from them, so I doubt that Maki eats those for breakfast without the damage stacking.
