My goat is finally getting the recognition he deserves. This came right on time, too. I was just in a 3v1 debate arguing for why kenjaku top 3.

Fighting Kenjaku is Probably one of the most difficult things a sorcerer can do because he has everything and other things that you may not have thought of so he is never truly out of options.

I would call Kenjaku the single greatest master of cursed energy in the original series, he’s not necessarily the best in its combat application but overall with his barriers, secret CT trick, experience, cursed object info, cursed womb creation, Yuji, merger etc I think he’s the foremost expert on cursed energy, bro is a total wizard

I am so convinced that if it was not for maintaining a narrative and like a proper story/plot, kenjaku would be top 1 oat, 10 million cursed spirits with plenty of special grades he can extract CTs from and amplify to a ridiculous degree, the best barrier user with a barrierless DE, his cursed spirits can have their domains and sets of unique abilities and he can from the looks of it just send out as many as he wants. A single cursed spirit 4-way deadlocked against top tier sorcerer, wasn’t reinforced or coordinated. And in any fight he can just send spirits to DE spam the opponent to force burnout and then kill the opponent from there.

I think what gege meant by a tough fight against Mahito and Jogo is that they are bad matchups for cursed spirit manipulation that’s not the absorption itself since Jogo can wipe out many cursed spirits using lava and Mahito is hard to damage

The fact kenjaku won against the absolute busted imaginary technique of takaba is crazy in itself

when tengen tries to counteract kenjakus domain, kenjaku calls it "an old maneuver", which i read as implying that kenjaku is aware of ways to counteract an open barrier domain

The reason Yuta was sent is because Yuta and Rika would be the best options for fighting all the Cursed Spirits that would come put of Kenjaku after he is dead. That was stated in the story when Maki offered to go and they told her No.
