  There being so many GameCube games shows how experimental Nintendo was in that era. Even though not every change was a hit, I wish they would still be as adventurous as they were in that era

  GameCube era was my favorite specifically cause of the creativity and experimentation of that era. Mario sunshine. Wind Waker. Double dash. Metroid Prime. Starfox assault. Pikmin. Luigi&apos;s mansion. <br><br>I also think Botw and Totk changed too much for Zelda. It just doesn&apos;t feel like Zelda anymore, even though the games are great on their own.

  Super Paper Mario is still a RPG, it&apos;s just action based instead of turn based. Also, for the most part I would say it&apos;s closer to 64 and TYD than sticker star and the games that came afterwards

  I&apos;d Argue it&apos;s NOT Sunshine that changed a lot, you still have the one shine per level, just like in Super Mario 64, and later both Galaxies. It was Odyssey that changed, it went from what Mario is traditionally, to a sandbox game like Banjo-Kazooie, and DK64. You no longer need to leave every world every time you collect a moon.

  I was awaiting for Breath of the Wild to be in here but was clearly not expecting Wind Waker to have the Zelda slot

  I&apos;d argue that Sonic Adventure is actually trying really hard to be a 3D version of Sonic 3<br><br>There&apos;s just a lot that has to change when you go into 3D like how Tails and Knuckles are way too broken and the absolutely massive levels you have to make for Sonic&apos;s speed meaning you can&apos;t make so many and have to resort to other means to not make the game hilariously short

  I personally would’ve put Metroid Prime on here. Going from 2D platformer to third person was a huge change. Obviously it is well received so it wasn’t a bad change, but still changed a lot.
