My first time hearing of the 5 cut method. I took notes so I can make one. I’m an ex plastic injection mold maker who worked within .0005 in steel., so .002 to .003 would be amazingly accurate for my wood projects. Thank you so much. Great work.

Another great video ,I have made two very similar sleds long time ago which I do use all the time. The only difference is that I prefer the sled fence on the opposite side of the sled board . That way I can cut much larger boards.

This was a good reminder of the 5 cut method. I, too, have a heavy sled that I made about 10 years ago. Making a lighter version sounds like a great idea.
