As a mechanical engineer this guy clearly knows what he is doing, when I saw this video my first reaction was well they are just gonna weld it and hope it holds. But this man clearly knows his stuff and the part is certainly on par with what originaly came out of that bugatti. This sort of repair for me is certainly an art form. Hats off to you

I took a welding class in college and its quite a science. People simply have no idea how many different disciplines are included with marrying two pieces of metal together.

They said it couldn't be repaired because they're looking at a parts catalog; Bob is looking at the metal itself. The precision required to reverse-engineer and machine a critical structural component like that engine bracket is next-level. This is the definition of 'skill over gatekeeping.' Absolute masterclass in machining!
