Also to specify there's a sequel to the series called Kengan Omega so technically they could adapt on that series to start more seasons

Easily my favorite character in this show is THE BEARD himself!

The ending of Kengan Ashura made perfect sense.

It was hinted for a long time that this demon form ability Ohma is using is killing him (basically doing permanent damage to his heart) and he doesn't have a long life expectancy anyways due to it. He willingly decided to continue fighting knowing it will kill him cause that's what he likes the most. Even if he dropped out of the tournament, he would've died in a few years, if not months anyways.

Oh yeah, he wasn't going to beat Kuroki, just a massive skill difference. To be honest, Ohma should've lost in the semi finals to begin with.

The funny thing about Kuroki: dude is basically irrelevant for the story. No deep backstory, no flashy moves, very little connection to the other characters. He just showed up and beat all the characters who received lots of attention in the story (rival of the main character, the build up biggest rival of the main character, Sasuke, the reigning champion who was build up as the final boss and the main character) one after another cause he's simply the best fighter. Outside of maybe 1 or 2 fights, the better fighter in the tournament wins, regardless how the plot treats them, very little plot armor in the show. Kuroki is not a villain either, just a mostly neutral guy participating for money in this tournament.

4:00 the reason the guy told waka to punch him was so he could understand how to control his strength and not hurt people with it.

The guy fighting Sasuke, Saw Paing actually uses Lethwei, or Burmese bare-knuckle boxing, a traditional full-contact combat sport from Myanmar. Often called the "Art of Nine Limbs," it permits punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and, uniquely, headbutts. Fighters use no gloves, wrapping their hands only in tape and gauze, and can only win by knockout. It's a very dangerous type of fighting that doesn't protect the practitioners so something he did as a little kid was let his bones break, let them heal and do it all over again until his bones became as hard as actual armor. Bro can tank a punch to the face better than most and it's why he headbutted so damn hard without ending himself in the process and since blocking isn't really something that Lethwei focuses on, he mainly focuses on attacking and letting his practically adamantium bones tank any hits that get through

35:08 This is the reason Kengan is miles above Baki in terms of quality of the fights. The reason the fights are so good is because they rotoscoped them with real life stuntmen and martial artists, that's also why they stuck to CGI instead of 2D animation - CGI does a better job conveying real movement to animation. They wanted to make the fights feel realistic and intense and they executed that incredibly well.

22:20 well tbf in Cabba's case, he's basically the Universe 6 version of Vegeta (same fighting stance and Galick Gun)

And with Vegeta also being a full blooded Saiyan (way stronger at that) it would make sense that Cabba decided to want to become his disciple, that means Cabba can actually learn from him and become stronger himself. Vegeta was also the same person to bring out Cabba's SSJ1, so yea Cabba was not gonna take no for an answer

With Rihito it's straight up glaze lol
