  I think part of the fake royalty design has to do with the name of the ship - Maria Theresa. She was a Queen of the Habsburg royal family who ruled Austria-Hungary before World War 1. So an actual historical woman who ruled the very areas where the ship travels through, especially Vienna. Actually, the decor looks very much like you would see inside the Schönbrunn Palace near Vienna.

  Back in the day when we were still travelling we ended up taking 10 Uniworld cruises. Every ship is decorated differently and generally reflects the area through which it travels. The one thing they have in common is the decoration is always over the top! Never felt so spoiled in my life. Our last trip was in 2016 - I mention this only because our butler on that cruise was Sandor Tomasek - shown on the TV in your room at minute <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQYetMBOn4k&amp;t=573">9:33</a>. Crew loyalty is another hallmark of the line.<br>PS&gt; We never had tour groups that large on any trip - more like 15 people, tops. I wonder if they just don&apos;t have access to as many local guides as they used to, now that there are so many more riverboat lines cruising the rivers.

  Something to note about river cruises - the ships often “raft up”, ie park side by side, which means that your cabin and balcony are looking smack into a cabin of another ship. No privacy or view whatsoever.

  This is so wonderful. The footage of the sound of music areas made me a little sad. My mom and I used to watch The Sound of Music together every year when I was little. She passed about 7 years ago and seeing this made me miss her. I hope I can go on this beautiful cruise and see all the beauty soon ❤️. Thank you for the beautiful video and the beautiful appreciation of the sound of music. It makes me so happy when people love that movie

  the confusion at the beginning i can understand you complaining about, and her additude i would report, &nbsp;wi-fi for YOU, I can also understand. &nbsp;but the views when the ship is moving that was a stretch for me. &nbsp;they moved at night so you had more time at each stop. &nbsp;the ship is very fancy, &nbsp;food looked amazing. &nbsp;the staff where also amazing. &nbsp;the locks would have been fascinating for me. &nbsp;you two really had to really think about what to complain about. &nbsp;for most of us, none of that would have bothered us. &nbsp;what i wouldn&apos;t do to trade places with you at this moment. &nbsp;truly enjoyed the video. &nbsp;the places you visited where beautiful. &nbsp;just loved it all.

  I LOVE the decor. &nbsp; In this &apos;modern&apos; area of zero personality, this ship is magnificent. &nbsp;Not only is it fun, but remembering this trip will bring the best memories.
