Is Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon Bad? (Retrospective)

  Read the title and immediately thought &quot;NO&quot;<br><br>This game is one of my favorite 3ds games, and my favorite Luigi&apos;s Mansion game.<br><br>While the mission structure was off putting to some, it made it unique, while you did a different thing each time in the mansion and the puzzles feel so much fun. I have both this game and Luigi&apos;s Mansion 3 and while Luigi&apos;s Mansion 3 is a well made game. It doesn&apos;t come close how Dark Moon plays and it&apos;s variety of mansions.

I remember playing this game during the hot summer of 2016 and replaying it in the summer of 2018, good times, goooooooood times. 😊

  The ice boss made me want to rage quit lol, but I enjoyed LM2. Was really surprised when I found out fans were so mixed.

  Recently played this game again on the switch last year, its not that bad, i even beat it again to, the game was harder on 3ds imo due to a small screen.

  Basically it was a product of its time. Mario in the 2010s was pretty surface level. That bled into the spin-offs like this one. Not a bad game but overall a pretty generic one compare to it predecessor and it more popular successor.
