  Apparently hitting Champ 1 means you can now say whatever you want and everyone else is forced to agree with you because you're higher rank. The "back in my day" takes happen in every fucking sport and esport and it's almost always just nostalgia that they refuse to examine more closely.

  This is genuinely the biggest issue I had with Lyte&apos;s Marvel Rivals video. Being good at something doesn&apos;t always guarantee your opinions at what you&apos;re good at are more correct or even good

  As someone who got good at something else - what happens is that good players have a bad perspective on how easy the game is to play/learn. The automation of mental processes are invisible to most and make a huge impact.

  Being good and understanding of the game does not mean you have the vocabulary to express the game in a good way.<br>Teaching the game is a skill that needs to be learned and most people dont have very many chances to learn it
