  Nik changed my life.  Listening to Human Racing in 1984 at the age of 27 I suddenly felt music was back at the centre of my life again.  It's kind of been there ever since.  Keep up the incredible work and joy you spread Nik.  As you say it is not about money and the excess (rather than success) it leads to, and probably never was.  You are probably blessed to have had manageable ups and downs and grown stronger and wiser with them. That is what has kept you grounded and real.  As Nik alluded to, at times we all feel like impostors or being found, out but I like to think most of us sail on through that storm until the sun pokes through again.  It's always there just sometimes obscured by clouds. 👌

  I was at Live Aid in London. The camaraderie between everyone in the audience and those on stage and backstage was incredible. There was no us and them. And it’s not rose-tinted spectacles, something unique happened that day. Nik was great as was every act at Wembley ( aside from Adam Ant who didn’t read the room and decided to perform a new release instead of one of his hits). One of the best days of my life.

  Great interview, Gents. Nik's early relationship with classical music goes a long way to explaining the extraordinary (and unusual for pop) key / chord shifts in many of his songs.

  Nik Kershaw's Human Racing was the first album I ever bought. I still remember when I bought it and where. Wouldn't it be good is still one of my favorite songs

  Oh God I absolutely adore this guy! Nik Kershaw entered my life in 1984, thanks to the French TV channel Canal+, which was the first one in France broadcasting music videos. &quot;Wouldn&apos;t it be good&quot; was one of the first videos of Nik on air and I adored it immediately, bought the vinyl LP, loved everything, then bought The Riddle (one of my first CDs), loved everything again, then bought Radio Musicola... Thanks for this great interview!<br><br>He&apos;s probably one of the best Pop songwriter ever, along with Bowie, Elton John and Sting and I&apos;m never tired listening to all his albums over and over again. He&apos;s also smart, humble and friendly. I&apos;m sure the 10th album we&apos;re all waiting for will be great!

  Loved the relaxed atmosphere and humour of all three of you, it was a joy to watch.Thanks to you all gentlemen! I had the chance to go Live aid at Wembley but could not afford the ticket at the time. Now I am 66 and probably couldn&apos;t afford the ticket at today&apos;s prices but watched both broadcasts on the TV! Now it would probably even be &apos;Pay to view&apos; on some streaming service. How times have changed. Best wishes from Stroud in the UK!
