  I think the victim&apos;s mother deserves a bit of kudos for defending the wrongfully accused. That takes true strength and moral conviction.

  There should be some kind of charge for standing by and letting someone else be punished for your crime. He got less time than the wrongly convicted.

  The mom that looked past the conviction to see the truth is an absolute badass. Takes a lot to change your own opinion in the face of a conviction by the courts.

  The last five minutes of this story is some of the most depressing things I&apos;ve ever heard.... &nbsp;starting with the poor mother in court, the killer&apos;s remorse, and then the innocent guy getting killed.... &nbsp; what the capital F#%K!!!!!!?!?!?! &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;I feel empty inside after this.... damn....

  You have to believe the original detectives had to know deep down that Chris wasn’t their man. The level of evil it takes to play with someone’s life like that is on par with the actual rapists and murderers out there.

  Its so tragic that after everything they put Chris through he was recently murdered. And they didn&apos;t have the decency to refrain from taking credit for solving the case even though it was Angie&apos;s mom that fought relentlessly for justice. The court system here in idaho falls is a cesspool of corruption and its disgusting watching them pat themselves on the back after how they treated the victims family and an innocent man. Thank you for covering this case you did an excellent job ❤

  Idaho Falls PD should feel nothing but embarrassment and shame. And it&apos;s just gross that those cops, so-called detectives at that, coerced a false confession out of a young and very naïve man. <br><br><i>They</i> should be doing 20 years right now!
