"Oh, you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man." - Me feeding my cat at 3am on a weekday

There's a few Robins, but by himself without Batman, he becomes "Nightwing"

I think the power of the trilogy is how grounded it feels. Obviously a billionaire beating bad guys up is ridiculous but he is human, surrounded by humans, the feeling of stakes. Great reaction 🙇🏻‍♂️🙏 also shoutout editor, always a chuckle

“You are as precious to me as you were to your own Mother and Father. I swore to them that I would protect you…and I haven’t.” - Alfred speaking to Bruce

John Blake is pretty much an amalgamation of the original three Robins.

Like Tim Drake, he’s an excellent detective and figured out Batman’s identity.

Like Jason Todd, he grew up as a street kid in an orphanage.

And like Dick Grayson, he takes up Batman’s mantle when he’s gone. He also wears a jacket with a blue stripe when he enters the batcave and also draws winged symbols across the city, both reminiscent of Nightwing’s symbol.
(The actual order of the robins was Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake)

To answer how he survived the bomb, in the conversation with Fox near the end, they mention that Bruce had fixed the autopilot months before and just didn't tell anyone. So he jumped out the Bat way before it blew up.

It's crazy even after knowing it's a happy ending, Alfred crying and thinking he failed Bruce always gets me

The child making the jump is the legend they tell. I believe the child was thrown.
