  After losing my IT job due to y2k and outsourcing. I had to work days in a warehouse, &nbsp;nights in a diner, weekends at a help desk. Sucking up my pride. <br>10 years of working, &nbsp;saving, no fun, no liquor, &nbsp;just sacrificing for a better future and health .<br>Later opened 3 nail salons, employed 10, 15 people. <br>Bought a single family rental property and a 3 family rental property <br> i was able to buy our primary home without a mortgage.<br>And pay most of our kids college tuition and cars. No loans.<br>Looking back i had no idea what i was doing. But i had nothing to lose.

  I bought a townhome in 2023 because I don&apos;t need a lot of space. There&apos;s no guarantee the landlord will fix issues in a timely manner. I see a lot of videos of people complaining that the management company or landlord hasn&apos;t fixed the problem for months.

  What&apos;s even &nbsp;worse than buying a house is buying a house with a family member who refuses to pay to fix anything and when you want to get out of the contract, good luck<br>If only I could go back in time

  Here&apos;s an idea. For about 6 months to a year at least before you buy a house, write down in a notebook of some kind, everything you wany and ate concerned about. Sick as appliance repair, roof, and anything else. If possible. Rent it or a simular kind of house before you buy. It&apos;s to make sure you can live in that kind of construction before you buy it. Personaly, I think it takes a couple of years.

  There were a bit of surprises, but I actually love my house and I don&apos;t get depressed when the home loan debit order goes off. Maybe it&apos;s because the house itself hasn&apos;t given me any issues since I&apos;ve moved in.

  Town houses suck. Only a regular single family home can ever be something anyone can actualy live in. But, renters can and some do damage. So have it in the contract &nbsp;before you buy. Thise kings of clauses can be put into any house contract. &nbsp;Its sad it was filthy bc it could get a price reduction. Is I said, make sure things like that are in the co tract. And hvacs can work just fine one day and not the next. Put it in the contract, even with inspection, do a deep inspection. That means take a good look inside and see what a vacation repair guy says. Weather anything needs to be replaced immediatly bc its showing very plainly. But remember too any havoc can look and work perfectly ok and stop or break the next say. That&apos;s why standard inspection is just turning it on. Thats passing.

Plus replacements won&apos;t work as the quality of everything is super low quality. <br><br>Renting is in opinion horrible! I did pay my house off, renovated it and was spending so much money on it but when i sold it i had money. If i rented i wouldnt have home paid off after 12 yrs. Rental would be almost same price if not more.

  Unfortunately, you will have to pay for property taxes and insurance costs when you rent property. &nbsp;Your landlord will increase your rent with every property tax and insurance increase. &nbsp;It is time for people to wake up and see what the government has done to all of us financially.

  You would only regret buying a house if you didn’t do the research or bought too much house , and stop with the tiny homes Millions of parents raised 2 to 4 kids in a 600sq’ home.

  The pressure, &nbsp;I think, comes from the gov. Constant causing problem. It&apos;s not the house. Its either fhe design ir local govs constant harassing people. But the bo door fog house isnt funny at all..
