  Sadly I was successful at converting one of my childhood friends and classmate. My aunt just sent me a picture of them preaching together and I feel so so guilty.

  And yes...a friend of mine was kicked out for being DFd. I went to visit him anyway. &nbsp;I told him that no religion is gonna make me forget who my friends were.<br>Then, he got reinstated and shunned me after I left the organization.<br>Go figure.

  Like most religions they believe that only those in their group are going to be saved.The billions of other humans will be destroyed. What a horrible thing to teach children.

  My girlfriend was a witness until about 15. She&apos;s told me about certain things, some habits, rules, and events. And as a man who studies this kind of stuff, I can 100% say, as a professional, that the Jehovahs witness, is a cult. It&apos;s straight up a cult. Fear tactics, isolation of the members, too many cult behaviors

  My late husband grew up jw and was shunned by his family as a teenager. He’d talk more easily about serving in the military during the Iraq war than he ever spoke about his time in that cult. Literal war was easier for him to talk about. 💔

  My siblings and I have distanced ourselves from this religion after we can stand on our own financially. Our parents are still in that religion but luckily, they don&apos;t follow the no talking rule. Last year, my little sis needed blood tranfusion. As the person beside her, I told her i want her to take blood transfusion even if our parents will definitely oppose to it. My sis did get blood transfusion ( her own decision). A few months, she was rushed to the hospital again and she was asked to get blood transfusion again since her blood count is really low. i was busy so it was my parents who&apos;s beside her. They refused blood even if the doctor is saying she will die. Her heart started to double because of lack of blood and she will get worse if we didn&apos;t allow her to get some blood. I rushed there and fought for my sister. I told them I will hate them if my sister will die and IT WILL BE THEIR FAULT. In the end, they left my sis and I was the one who stayed by her side. She got better and is now cleared for dialysis. But now, she will have some complications because of the delay of blood transfusion. Still, I&apos;m happy my sis is still alive. She&apos;s only 23. She&apos;s still too young to die and live in that paradise they are so sure about. And that freaking elder that came to talk to me, he makes my blood boil. He was so insensitive. The fact that he&apos;s basically telling me to let my sister die for a faith we don&apos;t longer believe in, and not stopping when she sees my sister crying because she doesn&apos;t want to die still makes my blood boil until to this day. I hate this religion to the core. I&apos;m so glad I outgrew this cult

  there was a jehova&apos;s witness family across the street from my nana&apos;s house. they had a little girl about my age. we would play together when i came to see my dad &amp; nana, which was every weekend. around halloween, i showed her the pumpkins we had carved (they were sitting on the front porch so easily visible anyway). her parents called her inside &amp; never let her play with me again. i remember being so confused at like 6/7 yrs old! like what the heck did i do wrong? that&apos;s when dad had to explain to me what the heck this &quot;religion&quot; was all about &amp; how they don&apos;t celebrate holidays. after that i just felt sad for the girl.

  I was baptized at 10, bullied, tormented by other witness children, and even their parents. One elder met my mother and referred to me as “notorious” at only 12 years old. They spread so many vicious and disgusting rumors about me, when I was an innocent baby. I was disfellowshipped at 13 or 14, it’s still really hazy trying to remember that time and how old I was because it was so traumatizing being in judical hearing after judicial hearing as a child. I was an elders child so of course my father lost his position. My parents tried their best and never ever kicked me out I am so thankful for that. I got reinstated at 24 to make them happy, but I will never ever forget all of the things I went through. Details are just heartbreaking to remember. Keep your children AWAY
