If you look at the InGen files and the timeline of Dr. Henry Wu’s career, the Spinosaurus was an overwhelming success that proved his most radical theories were correct.<br>The most common mistake people make is thinking it was a failure because it didn&apos;t look like a real-world Spinosaurus, but that was entirely intentional. Under the secret &quot;Project Regenesis,&quot; Wu wasn&apos;t trying to recreate a perfect fossil replica; he was conducting &quot;Amalgam Testing&quot; to see how far he could push genetic hybridization. The result was a creature that was faster, stronger, and more aggressive than anything nature ever produced. It was the successful bridge between traditional cloning and the creation of the Indominus rex.<br>You also have to look at its survival record. A failed experiment dies out quickly, but Asset 87 became the undisputed apex predator of Isla Sorna, even taking down a Tyrannosaurus rex with ease.   “I hope it’s not a fast swimmer” my guy, it’s a Spinosaurus, they’re amphibious. They spent most of their lives in water and hunted on coastlines, they’re absolutely good swimmers and they’re ambush hunters so they’re very very good at being silent and waiting for their prey to come to them
