  Lake America was a thing for 1 day in Canada. In reality, we don't really care because we will always call it Lake Ontario. Trump is just a whiney toddler.

  The name comes from an Iroquoian-language word, recorded by Europeans in forms such as Ontarí:io. It is commonly interpreted as meaning something like “beautiful lake,” “beautiful water,” or “great lake,” diring the 1600s. By the late 17th century, Lac Ontario was appearing on French maps, and “Lake Ontario” eventually became the established English name.<br>Interestingly, the province of Ontario was named after Lake Ontario, not the other way around. When the Province of Ontario was created at Canadian Confederation in 1867, it took its name from the lake. So “Ontario” has been associated with the lake for roughly 350 years, and its roots go back even further to the Indigenous peoples who lived in the Great Lakes region long before European settlement.

  🇨🇦❤️ Any American who “loves it”, is likely MAGA, or a typical, entitled American. This lake was NOT NAMED BY CANADIANS‼️ It was named by the First Nations People who lived here hundreds and hundreds of years BEFORE there even WAS a USA or Canada. My God, I freaking DETEST TRUMP‼️👹🇺🇸❤️‍🔥
