Good walkthrough. On an 80, I’d also inspect the birfield/knuckle area and wheel bearings for grease contamination or play, then verify the driveshaft slip-yoke and U-joints while everything is accessible. OEM filters and fluids tend to be worth the extra cost on these trucks, especially when maintenance history is unknown.
