  If Marvel gonna ever revisit concept of Life Story I would defiently loved to have 6-7 issue mini-series for Avengers. Zdarsky came up with an interesting premise of ideological conflict between Iron Man and Captain America being rooted in Vietnam War that spiraled for decades but lacked many details due to being relegated to the background. I do want to know more how superhero community got divided because of 60 year old feuds and petty politics!

  Little side tangent about Cap that the Vietnam scene you brought up prompted: my favorite thing about Cap is that his view of America is almost exactly how I see it. He isn’t wearing the flag because he loves the government and supports their every whim. He wears it because he loves the ideals. The American dream. He doesn’t stand for America the government, he stands for the country, for the people. Freedom, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, that’s why he defends the nation. So of course he’s going to step in when the army goes too far, he’s not there for them. He’s there to protect, and fight for freedom, not for LBJ

  Spider-Man has been a grown up, but he mandate just has writers not know where to start and end their ideas on there terms

  I really hope that Marvel decides to run this back for more characters I think seeing a full arc is far more satisfying than keeping characters static in time to keep up the status quo, really good video man I hope we can get more like these in the future!
