  The creator of Spider-Man 2099 and the writer of this game’s fantastic story just passed away. It’s a real heartbreak. He had been ill for a couple years now and had been relying on gofundmes which unfortunately never got him what he needed. He deserved better.<br><br>Rest in Peace Peter David.

  I think the black cat portion, while you’re probably right with it being tacked on due to a lack of boss fights, has a purpose within the story. it’s meant to physically demonstrate how twisted this ceo peter parker is and how his desire to “save” all his loved ones will probably end up just like this black cat clone. it shows that ceo parker is not reliable at all and would’ve screwed up any attempt to be a hero and save his loved ones.

  Miguel asking Peter if he wants a 6 hour explanation of paradox theory and Pete saying yes is one of the most classic Peter Parker moments I’ve seen outside the ps4 game that didn’t involve his suffering.

  A little fun fact: In the Anti-Venom boss fight when you&apos;re playing as Peter if you die the game will play the cutscene where Miguel yells: &quot;Parker! Parker are you there? Peter! Peter!&quot;

  I&apos;ve always loved Miguel&apos;s costume&apos;s strobe light effect. Wish they&apos;d bring that back

  The CEO&apos;s trying to keep his loved ones alive long after they&apos;re supposed to die and is willing to damn himself and the world to do it, instead of dealing it with it like an adult. It&apos;s One More Day&apos;s characterization of a selfish Peter as a fully fledged villain.

  I love that Peter David wrote this game it gives it authenticity and I love that Miguel O&apos;Hara Spider-Man 2099 feels right out of the actual comics

  The genius of hiring a big name like Val Kilmer is to throw the player off. Surely the famous actor is the big bad. And then to have that rug pulled out from under you is so good. Wish more games did this.
