As a developer who has developed software for Windows since version 3.1, I am in the process of building three new Linux machines. One machine will run PostgreSQL, one will run Wolfram Engine, and the third will be a development machine running JetBrains.

They don't disable anything. Windows is nothing more than a marketing system under the guise of an unreliable OS.

When Microsoft effectively forced me to buy a new machine, I did. I got a Mac, something I now wish I’d done years ago.

Frankly as a retired person, who has run business, the last thing I want on my desk, is a lump of American junk telling what, where, when, Microsoft has had it's run and now it is time for it to disappear.
