  Funny story: Burt Reynolds had a great sense of humor and contacted Norm Macdonald about the Terd Ferguson skit with an idea. He said, “Next time you do the celebrity jeopardy thing, I want to come out onto the stage, punch you, knock you out then take over as Burt Reynolds…only I’m even dumber than you were.”. Genius.

  As someone who grew up in the New York area and has lived here his entire life and is a New York Rangers fan I can say one thing about the accuracy of this movie, the New York Rangers almost losing to a recreational team from Alaska is the most realistic part of this films plot.<br>😂😂😂😂😂

  Another hockey movie is Youngblood from 86. Stars Rob Lowe, supporting role by Patrick Swayze and features Keanu Reeves in one of his first film roles (he plays the goalie). It&apos;s about a young American who comes north to play Canadian Junior hockey. They recently did a remake of it, have not seen the remake yet.

  I wondered how a movie with such an all-star cast from 1999 totally passed me by. I didn&apos;t even know it existed.<br>Well now I know. Like sand through an hourglass, so are the days of our lives.

  This is one of my favorite hockey movies. I worked at a movie theater as a teenager when this movie came out and got to see it for free. Not many people know about this underrated movie
