This actually is kinda sweet (until he appears) because Kissy is actually meant to be why Huggy calms down, which we can see when Huggy not only starts to relax, but his mouth actually starts to close...until he appears, then everything just falls apart, but there might be more because of how Kissy's hand did fall onto Huggy's leg when she gets stabbed, so there might be a chance both of them return, or Huggy returns hellbent against the Prototype.

They're just kids who literally became the toys and forgot who they are except the toy. So Kissy and Huggy seeing each other in person possibly for the first time ever or ever since after the Hour Of Joy is a big moment for them. They see each other as one, as the same. They either feel a sibling relationship or a love of some kind depending on how they were forced to learn about each other when being manipulated. Poor babies...

Does anyone notice that when Kissy Missy releases Huggy Wuggy Missing limb, her pupils grow bigger, a sign of care, affection and longing from unresolved Emotions

Huggy being skeptical of whether this is real makes sense. Because he was only shown Kissy through pictures and projections, and so when he sees the real deal, he doesn’t know if this is fake or not
