Sick of paid shills and sugar-coated reviews?
Sometimes I take sponsors. Sometimes I go full stealth. But every time, you get the truth—no bullshit.
Subscribe if you’re done getting lied to.

To be fair: ordering from gfs or sweetwater as a german is the same major headache.

Actually. Being European... That's exactly the situation we are in when trying to buy anything from the US. Costs are like 40 percent more than in the US. So you got that with one store, we got that with everything from a continent.

Hey, Glen. Special shout out for helping a fellow you tuber I follow on Scar My Guitar. He's giving you props for all the help you gave them when he got hacked. As a viewer, it feels great to know what kind of guy you are. I know you have a lot going on, and helping out a guy when he's down, that deserves credit. Thanks, man.

Glenn, you're a cool dude. Love the unbiased gear reviews and how everything is from a recording perspective. Have been enjoying your videos for years all the way from the Great State of Texas.

To be fair: That guitar model just came out here in Germany as well. I think it will be available through the Reverb store in the future. That being said: Great video once again. Stealth ordering to get the true customer experience and not some YouTube extra treatment is a great idea!

Thanks for these honest reviews, Glenn. All the best to you and your wife!

In 2020 right after covid shutdowns and supply chain issues, I ordered a mandolin and 6 string bass from HB.
It was months before they showed up. Both needed quite a bit of setup but ended up being good playing and sounding instruments and as things opened up, I started using them live.
I like that strat with the hardtail and humbuckers. With the coil split you have even more versatility.

Hi Glenn, I bought 2 different guitars( I am in the states) from HB's German site. I had some fret issues with one of them. I reached out to them and instead of a return they sent me 2 MORE of the guitars I bought!!! So, basically I got 4 GUITARS from them for the price of 2!!!!!! and YES, I got the fret issue fixed (it's called a rubber hammer). Gotta love laziness on their part and yes, the guitars now rip! Great episode Glenn, all the best to you and your Wife!
