  Very interesting video mate really enjoyed it! I agree the skywalker saga was very different but it was refreshing to break up the formula there truly is a lego game for everyone. I can say from my time with the new leog batman game it feels like the perfect blend of new and old.

  i got to agree, when i first saw the new lego star wars game, it felt weird like it lost it charm and it kinda felt more serious. I love how the camera for lego games above the characters rather then behind them

  I think one of the issues is the increased gap between the games. <br><br>While I don&apos;t think the 2010s development cycles of having more than one lego game a year was sustainable there has to be a better balance than what we&apos;re getting now

  LEGO Dimensions really feels like a missed opportunity in retrospect. There were tons of IP used that could have been full-fledged titles had they gone for it.<br><br>Personally, I always wanted an Adventure Time title. Dimensions did that IP so well both visually and character-wise that it is so sad it never got a full entry. It is one of those cartoons that certainly had the characters for an expansive cast.<br>PowerPuff Girls also seems like a missed opportunity. Again, big IP with a wide variety of characters. They could have also just done a big Cartoon Network crossover and combined the two and others for a bigger cast. <br><br>Recently, there are rumors of SpongeBob getting the LEGO treatment again. With Nick’s new game initiative, it would be cool to get Nickelodeon based LEGO titles be it SpongeBob, Avatar, or something else.

  I liked when there was 100s of characters and each had as many different abilities as was appropriate to the character. I liked TSS just fine as a collectathon but im both glad theyre doing away with the large character roster in this one because the character class system sort of ruined the novelty of collecting different characters, but I also miss that format because it was the perfect formula for a licensed game

  Finally someone brought this up!<br><br>Lego games used to be criticized for being &quot;repetitive&quot; for some people, but the formula was part of the charm, and it fitted the theme of building.<br>Reaching 100% on a Lego game used to feel like completing a set build.<br><br>Now Lego games are trying to be other games but with Lego skins, just like the rest of the brand, it has being consumed by corporatism and the thrill is gone.

  They really peaked with Super Villains and then immediately threw the whole formula out the window right after.<br>I wish these more experimental titles were spinoffs rather than the new standard.

  I would love to see Lego try to do the jaws franchise or even the mummy from 1999 or a Simpson Lego game.

  I dont think they have lost their identity, just evolved. Based on everything we&apos;ve seen from Legacy of The Dark Knight they are fixing the issues from Skywalker Saga (mostly due to the awful behind the scenes). I do think TT should try to make their mainline games a bit more varied with themes, they are clearly using their main franchise to ease us this evolution. <br><br>LOTDK definitely has all the things you&apos;d come to a lego game for, the building, puzzles and humor, which is what Skywalker Saga lacked. I love that they want it to be for everyone having a bit more of a mature story and having difficulty options aswell.

  Skywalker saga had 5% gameplay, 20% cutscenes, 30% walking and 45% collectibles. It was like a walking simulator. Story missions were so short and lazy
