  It's not sad that him and other so many great, talented and genuine people are gone, it's natural and normal, and they gave humanity everything they had - it's sad that no such people are replacing them, and the world is getting colder...Rest in peace dear soul.

  When you grow up in a certain era, you get the impression that at some point, pretty much all the great artists who were truly talented and created something iconic slowly but surely “disappear.” That's so tragic, because in my opinion, today's modern world no longer allows for anything “handmade.” And artificial intelligence is the nail in the coffin of art and creativity.   Met him coming out of a guitar shop in Denmark Street in London...i asked, just before he got into a car  what were the chords to this song..  he took out a note pad, wrote them down for me and said practice them and you'll get it....cheerio....Chris Rea  You are a Star,

  One of my childhood memories is from one night in the the early 90s when my dad sat me down, put this record on the turntable and turned up the volume. He absolutely loved the "Part 1" intro and wanted to share it with me. He passed away in 2020 and my mum in 2024. Hearing this live version in 2025 hits hard.

  Make no mistake, this is one of the finest slide guitarists you&apos;ll ever hear and on top of that the guy is dealing with health issues like you wouldn&apos;t believe, he is a true genius and has to be remembered as such, what a man &lt;3 &nbsp;Chris much love and i wish you all the best my good sir
