  Last year I donated my car to Veterans for cars so now my golf cart is my only transportation.  I use it daily go to the VA , shopping, of course golfing and just go joy riding around, I feel it helps my anger issues with tailgating and dumb drivers. I find that it helps tame my PTSD

  There was an Oscar Felieu. He was a friend of the Developer, an entertainer, and a contributor to creating many of the musical attractions that started in The Villages. He passed away several years ago.

  The Villages is pure genius.  A retirement community that offers people 55 and older a great, full of life place to live.  Nobody does it better.  It is not cheap, but ether is this kind of safety and happiness.  The Villages is a groovy place to live if you can handle the excitement daily.

  The Amenity Fee does NOT go to the developer. &nbsp;The amenities (pools, rec centers, etc) belong to the residents, overseen by elected boards, and the amenity fee goes to maintain and improve the amenities. &nbsp;It does NOT got to the developer. <br>Second, residents always pay for the infrastructure. &nbsp;Either a developer pays for it and adds it to the price of the home, or the city/county pays for it and recovers it through taxes. &nbsp;The mechanism is slightly different, but it always gets paid for the new homeowners.

  He didn&apos;t even mention the school system where 4200 students matriculate, and 30% of students graduate with an associates degree. Yet almost no Villager has a student in the schools, it&apos;s for the people who work in TV to support the lifestyle of residents. <br>The schools are part of a charter school system where all of the students attend free, but require the parents to donate time to support their education. What a vision!

  Brownwood came from the Brownwood in Central Lake, Michigan previously owned by Gary Morse. It’s still owned by his relatives.
