  Guts is a compelling protagonist to me personally because &nbsp;- at the end of the day - the guy just wants to find a place for himself in the world and be happy. It&apos;s that one desire that still grounds his humanity, no matter what kind of terrible shit he goes through with each arc. And he makes genuine connections with people. He&apos;s human, neither wholly good nor wholly bad. Just someone who&apos;s looking for happiness in a bleak world.

  Berserk alone made me appreciate manga as an art form way more, by far the greatest story of all time. Ive never loved a story more than Berserk. RIP Kentaro Miura you will forever be in my heart
